Read to know how to accomplish the daunting task…

Starting to explore Data Science 7 years back, I heard

“you need a Ph.D. else you will never get an entry into the field” or

“you need to know complex math else you will find it difficult” or

“Not to venture in data science as I have lot of experience in IT and it was time for me to relax and earn and not to start learning”.

Seven years back, when I heard about how predictions can be made using Machine Learning, objects are identified in images/videos using Computer Vision. The technology fascinated me, and I wanted to learn and master the technology.

One thing my father taught me and is very central to my thinking

Recently read a book by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans on “Designing your Life using Design Thinking”.

The book introduced me to Design Thinking, and I could immediately draw a parallel between the approach I had unknowingly applied to learn data…
